The Powerboat P1 World Championship, will be returning to Siracusa, Sicily on September 17-19.

Joining Sicilian ministers and city representatives in Milan to make the announcement, Powerboat P1 promised to return bigger and better in 2010 with twenty of the most powerful marine engines that money can buy, battling it out in Siracusa once again.

Locals will have the opportunity to see the 42 ft twin-engine monohull powerboats up close, as well as watching the boats reaching speeds in excess of 200 kph from Ortigia.
