12 Meter World Championship

In 2009 the 12 Metre World Championships for all Divisions will be held in September 22 to 27, 2009. Anywhere up to 25 12 Metre yachts from around the world are likely to participate.
A 12 month series of events and regattas appropriately named "The Golden Year of Racing" commences in October of 2008. The focal point of the "Golden Year" will be the 5 regatta "Golden Tour" beginning with the Newport Trophy Regatta in the end of July and ending with the New York Classic Week in New York City.
