Plexus is a spray on product that does an excellant job of cleaning clear vinyl or strataglass. The secret to keeping the vinyl clean and new looking is not to rub in the dirt(scratches the surface,) Rinse the windows with clear water to get all the grit off. You can dry them with a clean soft cloth, or let them air dry. Then spray on the plexus and wipe it off with a clean soft cloth (not the one you wiped the dirt off with.)

The results looks like a brand new window. We have terry clothes on our boat that are used only for plexus. That keeps us from using a dirty cloth.

DO NOT use paper towels on the windows as it will scratch the windows and cause dirt to collect, Its all down hill from there.

Hi Dan, I think this is a GREAT question - - I don't know the answer myself and I'm anxious to see how the pro's answer it. I was recently on a Swan 60 in the Caribbean and they had made an Atlantic crossing, spent the last summer in Turkey where it was 100 degrees and their clear vinyl windows looked great - - so clearly somebody must know something. I'm new to this website. I asked a question in Ask-A-Pro but it didn't post. Does anybody know how to use that section? I'm looking for product recommendations to care for clear vinyl windows on a cockpit dodger. I just had a new dodger made and I had canvas covers made for the windows, but somebody told me it wasn't sun exposure that caused the vinyl to fog, it was heat. Does anybody know if that is true? Also, if anybody has a recommendation for products that help keep vinyl windos clear, I would like to know your experience. Thanks, Dan
