The Best and Most Comfortable Boat Shoe
The Best & Most Comfortable Boat Shoe You'll Ever Own
I've been boating for more than 40 years and in that time, I've tried every brand of boat shoe known. I finally found the BEST and most COMFORTABLE boat shoe EVER! They're called SWIMS™.

I don't think my foot is unusual - - I wear a 9 -D and most brands of street shoes fit me just fine. But with boat shoes I have issues with every pair I've worn - - among my chief complaints are too narrow; too heavy; feel clunky; poorly made; don't drain; don't dry and any one or more of these results in an uncomfortable shoe. Believe me, I've tried every brand out there - - Sperry, Sebago, Timberland, SLAM, Dubarry, Lands End, Rockport, even designer shoes like Ralph Lauren and Tommy Bahama. But I recently found a Norwegian company, SWIMS™, that makes the best and most comfortable boat shoe I've ever worn. I love them! By the way, they come in both Men's and Women's models. Looking for a nice present for your wife for Christmas or a birthday - - get her a pair of SWIMS™ - - she'll thank you for them.
They're made from a mesh material held inside a flexible rubber body that contains cutouts around the side of the shoe that allow them to drain and dry quickly. Even the insole has holes in the bottom that keep your feet from standing in a puddle. The outsole is grippy on a wet deck with channels to keep you stuck to the deck. They're sort of like a Croc hybrid with a boat shoe, but with great style. Best of all, because they are made with mesh - - they're light as air. So, what do I like about them:
— Comfortable, comfortable, comfortable - - like walking on air
— Lightweight - -the mesh construction makes them so light you almost feel barefoot
— Insole Drains - the insole has holes that allow the water to instantly drain so you aren't standing in water
— Slots in the rubber welt - - there are slots in the rubber welt that allow instant drainage; water pours out and air circulate
— Grippy - - the sole has water channels that allow water to move and keep you stuck to the deck
— Stylish - - they look like high fashion shoes, not the traditional boat shoe and they come in lots of colors
— Long Lasting - - I wore a pair of these to cross the Atlantic and back and they still look and feel great
— Washable - - that's right, they're washable - - throw them in the washing machine and the dryer if you want
— They Fit - - they come in half-sizes and multiple widths so you always get the perfect size for your foot.
I like them so much I now have eight pairs of SWIM shoes; three pairs for sailing and five pairs for everyday. After a day, week or month of sailing, give them a wash and they're good to wear to a nice restaurant. Stop going to the yacht club in the same old brown leather boat shoe - - put on some style, and best of all you'll love the way they feel on your foot.
