I have an older Toshiba laptop that I had Garmin charts on to plot waypoints and then download them into my Garmin 76csx hand held to create my routes. I recently purchased an Apple MacBook Pro and wanted to find out if anyone had any experience with the Mac for charting and and downloading to your GPS sync.

It looks to me like Garmin does not support the Mac software so maybe just keeping old lap top for this purpose would be the best way to handle it?

Thanks in advance

Greg

You can get a program called 'Boot Camp' which lets you install Windows on your Mac and you can duel boot. You can install you Garmin software on the Windows side and boot into Windows when you need it. Hope this helps, maybe someone else has some ideas.
